LOW FRICTION COATING
AVAILABLE UPGRADES
The piston rod can be treated with a low friction coating. Due to the low friction coefficient of the coating, the friction is reduced under heavy loads. This occurs with McPherson strut type suspensions when the car is under heavy breaking and cornering. The coating withstands temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius (578 degrees Fahrenheit) Advantages of the coating: Reduces adhesive wear Low friction coefficient
