Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Recent work includes:
- Descriptive alternative text on product images
- Text and button colors that meet WCAG contrast requirements
- A pause/play control on the homepage photo rotation, which also pauses on hover or keyboard focus
- Labelled, keyboard-accessible order forms with spoken error messages
Checkout is provided by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility program.
Ongoing work
We review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them. Some content, such as manufacturer photos or third-party tools, may not yet be fully accessible.
